Company History
DMD Law is an Edinburgh-based company which has evolved through the merging of small, well-established firms with similar client-focused approaches. McNiven & Co. moved to our current offices in Corstorphine on the west side of the city in 1988. In November 1996 we merged with Dickson Smith and joined with Mackenzie and Dunn to become Dickson McNiven and Dunn WS. In 2005 we became a limited liability partnership and changed our name to DMD Law LLP. We have retained our relatively small size because this enables us to provide a more personal service.
Our company has seen a steady growth in business over the years, and has built its highly respected reputation based on word-of-mouth recommendations from our clients. We are proud to have acted for clients of the third and fourth generations of families.
